I moved into a new apartment and the door locks on its’ own when closing it from outside. I’m afraid of getting locked out at some point. I’d rather manually lock every time. Is there any way to disable the auto-locking function of the lock? There is a toggle switch beneath the lock bolts, but I have no idea what it does. We performed a sizable rekey on a house for an out of state owner. Now the owner is refusing to respond to payment requests. Any ideas on how to disable the locks without repinning them? We were thinking superglue, but don’t want it to be obviously tampered with. They replaced the lockbox we had used, so we can’t take the keys back.
